Day 1-2: Anchorage & Wrangell-St. Elias National Park Venture off the main highway and into this UNESCO World Heritage site. Wrangell-St Elias National Park is the continent's largest assemblage of glaciers and peaks above 16,000 feet. Prepare for some top-notch glacier action with a guided hike, or for a more vertical challenge, try ice climbing on Root Glacier. A visit to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is a great introduction to this vast and wild state. Why not opt to visit Kennecott Copper Mill Ghost Town or try ice cave trekking for a really unique experience? Accommodation: Wilderness style camping included

Day 3: Tangle Lakes Tangle Lakes is a great place to chill out after a challenging and extremely scenic drive along the McCarthy and Denali Highways, crossing the famous 800-mile-long Alaskan Pipeline. Lake-splattered green plains stretch to distant mountains and some wilderness canoeing should up your pulse rate. Accommodation: Camping included

Day 4-6: Denali National Park En route to Denali, make a stop at Gracious House and sample the famous and oh so delicious famed cinnamon rolls. A whopping six million acres of land makes up Denali National Park, and the vastness of this beautiful land creates a peaceful and unspoiled wilderness. Surrounded by the tallest mountain peaks in North America, Denali National Park is jam-packed with grizzlies, caribou, Dall sheep and wolves, and is so large that the only way of getting around is by bus. You're in luck, as we've thrown in a 2 day pass so you can get out into the wilds and explore the best this enormous expanse has to offer. A dog sled demonstration is included, and amazing photo opportunities await at every turn. Standing at over 20,320 feet, Mount McKinley dominates every view on a blue sky day, and an optional scenic flight will blow you away. A visit to this national park will leave you feeling like a true explorer, so make sure you enjoy every second. Accommodation: Camping included

Day 7: Denali National Park & Anchorage If you're not quite ready to leave the wilderness behind, enjoy one last morning in this beautiful national park where the rangers actively encourage you to walk anywhere, so the possibilities are endless! Stopping at Talkeetna between Denali and Anchorage, you can sample the delights of Reindeer Sausage. Return to Anchorage where you can explore the local breweries for a proper Alaskan send off! Why not extend your stay and make the most of the glaciers, trails, salmon streams and state park which surround the city. This tour ends at our gateway hotel at approximately 18:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 22:00 hrs.
