Day 1: New York Area & Boston Leave the big smoke and head up to Boston or Bean Town as the locals like to call it. See where the revolution began on the streets of Boston, as you walk along the historical Freedom Trail. But Boston is not all about the history, so take a trip to Harvard University to see the brains of America hard at work. Accommodation: Budget Lodging included


Day 2: Boston Hang with the locals on Boston Common and explore the delicious food at Quincy Market. Baseball runs through the heart of this city and on match day the city is swarming with Red Sox fans, so why not join in the fun and watch a game? A trip to Boston wouldn't be complete without a trip to the famous 'Cheers' bar for a cheeky beverage after a great first couple of days in the states. Accommodation: Budget Lodging included


Day 3-4: Stowe If the words 'Chunky Monkey' and the 'Vermonster' mean something to you, then you'll love Stowe, home to the Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory. A skier's paradise in the winter and throughout the rest of the year there is heaps of hiking, biking and swimming to be done, it won't take you long to realise there is so much more to Stowe than just snowy peaks. Vermont in the autumn time is simply spectacular and attracts heaps of visitors every year all wanting to catch a glimpse of the changing colour of the leaves. Day 5-6: Montreal A true cultural mix is next on the agenda with a visit to Montreal - the second largest city in Canada. For the foodies amongst you Montreal has some great cuisine to sink your teeth into, why not try the locals favourite Poutine, cheesy curds on thin French fries, topped with a thick gravy or a 'Rueben' smoked meat sandwich, which is totally delicious and melts in your mouth? For the ultimate culinary adventure, a trip to O'Noir, a restaurant in the dark will tickle your taste buds. You'll no doubt fall head over heels for Montreal. Day 7: Toronto With so many different nationalities, this multi-cultural city is the place everyone wants to be. View the city from above with a vertigo inducing walk around the top of the CN Tower, for the ultimate bird's eye view. Hang out with all the trendy people at the high-fashion stores and cosy cafes on College and Queen Street, there is no shortage of cool places to hang out and you may even spot a celeb or two as they can't get enough of this awesome city either. Day 8: Senaca Falls - Finger Lakes Senaca Falls is the gateway to Finger Lakes and what a place Finger Lakes is, from pristine lakes and stunning waterfalls to charming villages and let's not forget the hundreds of wineries in the area. This is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the company of your fellow trekkers. Accommodation: Budget Lodging included Day 9: New York Area Explore the city that never sleeps by taking a stroll around beautiful Central Park and then head over to Times Square to be in the centre of all the action. Splurge along Fifth Ave, hit the top of the Empire State Building, or soak up the trendy, laidback vibe of Greenwich Village, but whatever you do make sure you finish your day in New York City with a tasty Grimaldi's pizza, you won't regret it. Day 10: New York Area & Vancouver From one awesome city to the next, say goodbye to New York City and hello to one of the coolest cities in Western Canada, Vancouver! There are numerous reasons why people fall in love with Vancouver from the cool and hip neighbourhoods to the foodie hotspots, with Vancouver the opportunities for fun are endless. Day 11-12: Whistler Surrounded by mountains, Whistler is an action lover's paradise, so be sure to make the most of the exciting and thrilling activities on offer. Grab your bike and hit the awesome mountain trails, fly through the air on a vertigo inducing zipline or hit the hiking paths, whatever you decide to do, adventure is well and truly alive in Whistler, so embrace it. Day 13: Wells Gray Provincial Park Leave civilisation behind and experience stunning scenery, deep canyons and ancient forests in a place you'll never forget. Hike to the stunning Helmcken Falls, a 141 meter waterfall on the Murtle River and one of the reasons for the creation of Wells Gray Provincial Park. With beautiful meadows full of wild flowers and bears roaming freely around the park, Wells Gray is what Canadian dreams are made of. Accommodation: Budget Lodging included


Day 14-15: Jasper National Park Drive the Icefields Parkway through Jasper National Park and you'll be left breathless at its sheer beauty. Lose yourself in one of Canada's largest national parks, where wildlife such as grizzlies, wolves and caribou literally fight for your attention, making it the perfect place to get at one with nature. Hiking or biking your way round this epic national park is by far the best way to see it, so what are you waiting for? Accommodation: Budget Lodging included


Day 16-17: Banff National Park Packed full of show-stopping trails and incredible wildlife for you to enjoy, Banff, Canada's first national park is the crown jewel of the Canadian Rockies and it's no surprise it is a favourite with locals and tourists alike. If it's a relaxing time you're after, chill out by one of the picturesque lakes and the local hot springs or if you simply can't sit still, there are heaps of trails just waiting for you to explore. Day 18: Lake Louise As soon as you lay eyes on Lake Louise you will have no problem understanding why it was given the nickname, the "gem of the Rockies". The turquoise lake will have you pinching yourself in disbelief that somewhere could be this perfect. Once you've stopped gawking at the incredible scenery that surrounds you, we suggest taking a hike out to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers or jumping in a canoe and getting out on to the lake for a different perspective of Lake Louise and her mountains. Day 19: Glacier National Park - Kelowna With bear sightings possible and other awesome wildlife in an abundance, it won't just be the snow-capped mountains that leave you awe-struck. The best way to see Glacier National Park is to don your hiking boots and go for a walk, from the alpine lakes, sheer peaks and of course the glaciers, all 26 of them, this is a park that will leave you speechless around every corner. Day 20: Vancouver Treat yourself to some moreish Maple Cookies and then head over to Prospect Point for the best views in town. Known for being a city rich in culture, why not head over to Gastown with its award-winning galleries and tons of cafes and restaurants serving delicious food before saying goodbye to your new Trek buddies. This tour ends at approximately 17:00 hrs. We can book you post-tour accommodation at our gateway hotel if required. If you are planning to fly tonight, please do not book a flight that departs before 21:00 hrs.

BLT Accommodation

We use hostel style accommodation on the Canadian Express BLT. Hostel nights are generally arranged on a single sex, multi-share basis sleeping 4 to 6 people per room but in Jasper the group will share one large room with other travellers. Where possible we will keep the group together and try to accommodate couples; however twin rooms cannot be guaranteed. A sleeping bag is not required on this trip.
