You set up camp beside a pristine lake, far removed from the city you started in, before you enjoy getting to know your fellow travellers on your first evening together in wine country. Day 2-3: Yoho National Park Yoho comes from the Cree word for awe and wonder and as soon as you start hiking through this incredible place you'll soon see why. Negotiate the rapids of the well-named Kicking Horse River which offers some of the best white water rafting in the world. The scenery will continue to impress as you come across Takakkaw Falls, falling from the mountains to the valley below and the vistas keep on coming as you lay eyes on the incredible Emerald Lake with its glacial hues and forest backdrop. Accommodation: Camping included

Day 4-5: Banff National Park Boot up and breathe in the crisp alpine air with the resident beavers, bears, porcupines and elk. Day 6: Lake Louise A nickname like the "gem of the Rockies" is a lot to live up to, but it's no sweat for Lake Louise. The imposing chateau looks on as mountains cluster round the turquoise surface, if this isn't a photo opportunity at its best we don't know what is. Once you've stopped gawking at the incredible scenery that surrounds you hike out to the Plain-of-Six-Glaciers or soak up the scenery by paddle power and rent canoes to explore the lake at your leisure. Accommodation: Camping included

Day 7-8: Jasper National Park The widescreen scenery and breath-taking views keep on coming as you drive the Icefields Parkway, offering you panoramic views of endless valleys, sheer ridges, glaciers and spruce forests - truly one of the world's ultimate drives. This sprawling natural expanse offers many bike and hiking trails through the most spectacular scenery of the Canadian Rockies. Accommodation: Camping included

Home to the famous Helmcken Falls, Canada's fourth highest waterfall and with beautiful meadows full of wild flowers and bears roaming freely around the park, Wells Gray is what Canadian dreams are made of and nature will never have felt closer. Embrace the stillness, silence and isolation of Wells Gray because your next stop is Whistler and it couldn't be more different. Accommodation: Camping included
